In July 2011, the Guru Nanak Sikh schools will host one of the biggest events ever held outside India for the celebration of Parkash 2011. Having hosted mela events over the last six years as a fund raising exercise for the high achieving VA schools, the purpose of Parkash 2011 is to offer the community a celebration of the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and the schools dedicated work with charity in the UK and India. The event will also help to raise much needed funds for the school while offering companies an opportunity to be part of something extraordinary.
