This short programme shows the visit of Rt Hon Eric Pickles MP, Secretary of State for the Department for Communities and Local Government, to the Gurudwara on Soho Road, Handsworth, Birmingham.
The event was organised by the British Sikh Consultative Forum (BSCF is the national forum for Sikhs in the UK) and included a visit to the Gurudwara and the new ‘Sikh Dharam and Big Society’ exhibition at the Nishkam Centre.
The tour was led by Bhai Sahib Dr Mohinder Singh, Chairman of GNNSJ and BSCF, and included a brief talk on Big Society celebrating the work of the Sikhs in the inner city and how the Sikh Dharam contributes positively to all aspects of British life.
