A personal message and call to action from Surinderpal who has been supporting the Rik Basra campaign. Surinderpal is appealing to the Asian community to support a forthcoming stem cell donor registration event being organised by the Rik Basra Campaign.
Asians only stand a 40% chance of finding a donor due to the low number of registered Asian donors on the Anthony Nolan Register. You can help us change this statistic.
If you are between 18 and 40 and in good health then please come along to The Nishkam Centre, Soho Rd, Handsworth, Birmingham between 11am and 5pm on Sunday 25 March 2012 and register by giving a saliva sample.
You could be the one who saves a life.
